Hidrocolor congratulates the City Council of Sant Celoni for the organization of the first Employment Fair held virtually on March 12. At the same time, we are grateful for the possibility that they have offered us to participate in the first Webinar of this Fair. During one hour we explained to about 60 students of 3rd and 4th of ESO of the Institut Baix Montseny, Institut Escila La Tordera, Col-legi Cor de Maria and Col-legi La Salle de Sant Celoni, what are mechatronics and robotics.
The first “Virtual Employment Fair” aims to bring the reality of employment and production in the Baix Montseny area closer, to make students aware of the industrial reality, so that they become aware of the possibilities for professional and personal growth offered by today’s modern industry.
Our head of Maintenance Pau Moré and the internship student Eloi Felices from the Giola Institute in Llinars de Valles, were able to explain first-hand their work and daily experiences in maintenance and mechatronics. Mechatronics is directly linked to the maintenance and repair of machines and production equipment, which are becoming increasingly technological due to the evolution of industry 4.0, robotics and digitalisation. Industries are changing rapidly and the challenge for maintenance departments is to replace the hammer with a tablet.
Today, industry needs to incorporate people with the skills and attitudes to successfully face the changes and challenges of the future brought about by the Circular Economy, the 4.0 Revolution, Digitalisation, Robotics, etc. To this end, bridges must be built between Administrations, Education Centres, Technology Centres, Universities and Companies themselves to attract the attention of young students. Students must be familiar with the possibilities offered by the modern industry that the Baix Montseny area undoubtedly has to offer in order that they arrive well prepared and trained to meet the needs of the industries.
Hidrocolor, continues supporting training, bringing our production processes to the training centres that request it, and welcoming students in internships and dual training.
