Hidrocolor tries to be very close to its environment, and for this reason, we collaborate whenever possible with the different training centres in the area.
One of these collaborations has been carried out for years with the Giola Institute in Llinars del Vallès, where Hidrocolor carries out a conference – colloquium to its students, to help them in their integration in the labour world.
Last Wednesday March the 10th, the colloquium was held with students who are doing the First Cycle of Formation of the Superior Degree.
We discussed topics that began with the First Industrial Revolution of 1700 and led us to the current Industry 4.0, robotics, digitalisation and circular economy. We are in the age of knowledge, we have reached Mars and technology invades us and surprises us every day with new advances. Changes are no longer lineal, technological changes are exponential, and the only way to move forward is through continuous training.
Then, we dealt with a very important issue, which is the need to preserve values. Quality academic training aligned with the needs of industry and society is essential, but we cannot forget about values. Values such as: respect, humility, excellence, passion and perseverance.
To end the session we saw and heard “Nessum Dorma” from the opera Turandot by Giacomo Puccini, performed by Celista Stjepan Hauser, as a visible sign of excellence and passion.
We thank the Institut Giola de Llinars del Vallès for giving us the opportunity to bring training closer to the world of industry.
